TEEN ART GALLERY

CURRENT EXHIBIT:
Voices In an Expressive World

Teen artists Janne Karl, Jordan Morrow, Kali Perry, Kali Perry, Jesse Ridge and Taija Ventrella of VIEW (Voices In an Expressive World) present visual art that expresses their opinions about teen and world issues. The exhibit features black and white “storm drawing” scrolls; paintings, poems, portraits, sculpture, photographs, and found-object fashion pieces from a self-expression series; and collage and political cartoons on the topic of alternative forms of government. The exhibit will be on display through the end of May.

VIEW is a youth employment program of TEENS, Inc Youth and Family Center in Nederland. VIEW members choose, research, and explore teen and world issues, create art and music projects and then share them to the community. For more information visit http://www.teensinc.org/teen_center.html

your art. your gallery.

The Teen Art Gallery at the Boulder Public Library features rotating exhibits in a space exclusively for art work created by middle and high school artists. We show a range of work including painting, photography, graffiti, sculpture, collage, found objects, writing and more.

We are currently seeking artists and collaborations for exhibits in 2006 and 2007. This is a fantastic opportunity to show work in a public venue, gain experience with art exhibitions, and get exposure for your school or community group. You can also submit on your own or with a group of friends. Get shown and boost your college applications and resumes.
